Ease and power of the tool (SC Navigator). The on-boarding process and training, both videos/e-learning and in-person. How responsive AIMMS has been regarding our feedback and with questions about the tool and the modeling that we are doing.
The quick scenarios you can run within the platform by just tweaking one or two inputs allows for speedy decision making. I also like the multi-function use of solving for Cost, CO2 or Profitability. These features allow us to take on a wide range of problems. The tool is extremely customizable which allows us to update it as our network changes.
user-friendly and code-free
The speed at which the tool renders when there is a very large amount of customer demand nodes. The flexibility with the visuals, not being able to adjust transparency or adjust the drawing layer order of node types. The complexity of the input template. There's a level of complexity it needs to have but it has a steep learning curve. The data issues explorer helps when there are issues and it points you generally in the right direction, but still requires a lot of investigation to at times to truly figure out what the issue is and how to solve it.
It can be tedious to update the inputs of a complex model. It can also be hard to discern all of the changes occurring in one scenario vs. another; this takes time and effort.
