“Time-Saving Features Assist IT Tasks Yet Software Updates and Setup Remain Concerns”

I have been working in the IT industry for the past 10 years and have worked hands on multiple remote access tools but among all these AnyDesk stands out as one the user friendly and efficient tool which is being used in my organization AnyDesk tool allows you to get quick remote access to any system worldwide just using a simple session key. Its Web-Based and Application-Based interface tool which makes remote session quick once access is taken credentials can be securely saved and which eliminates the request for permission repeatdeatly which helps to increase the prodcutivity For instance, one of the users in my organization has an issue with "Production Software" and he wasn't physically near the system previously, I have remote access to his machine, I was able to take remote access of his machine immediately without any additional approval and troubleshoot the issue and also shared my screen through the Anydesk Mobile application allowing him to overview the troubleshooting steps. In Another instance similar issue arise on another machine, As Anydesk has recording session feature through that recording session I perfromed the same troubleshooting steps which reduced my time to resolve the issue fast. Overall Anydesk has helped us in saving time, providing effective support and allows us to handle the issue quickly without any interruption.

Anydesk has been very helpful to us when we need to perform immediate remote access especially when ZTNA and VPN's are not available. Though it helped with productivity, it need to further enhance its security features.

Easy to use-AnyDesk is commended for having easy to use interface and simple setup procedure. Performance; It is renowned for quick connections, which makes the job easy . Security- Anydesk uses robust encryption protocol. It has two factor password protection feature too.

What I dislike the most about AnyDesk is that there is not much software updated for instance while the initial setup is a bit confusing for new users for the access, sometimes software gets Hang if we take multiple remote access

Mobile Device Support, Often a Target of Threat Actors for Supply Chain Attacks or even some vulnerabilities being exploited, Some security controls are still flagging Anydesk as malicious or PUA

Limited features in free versions- The Anydesk free versions lacks some of the more advanced features found on paid versions Periodic Connectivity Problem- A few users have reported that connections can occasionally become unstable, especially when working with complex network configurations. Cost for Commercial use- Small business persons finds it pricey.
