The full screen mode and being able to hide the toolbars, and not having them get in the way when rolling over portions of the screen are really great.
I really love how easy it is to connect to computers, including the ability to connect to multiple desktops. The best feature is the ability to move documents quickly and efficiently via a separate window.
The ability to access machines from multiple devices (iMac, MacBook, iPad, PC) seamlessly. Reliable and stable remote connections with good performance. Simple setup and easy ongoing use with unattended access. Convenient for supporting users across different organisations. Clean and straightforward interface that doesn't require any training for the users of the machines being connected to.
There is not a quick way to remotely disconnect from a computer that is left with an active connection when moving between my home office and work location because I use the hidden screen function. It would be nice to have a way to manually disconnect without having to use my phone app.
The biggest issue is the instability with the streamer launching on the remote desktop. We cannot figure out why this is an issue, as it does not correlate to any user settings that we can adjust.
Multiple computers for the same user are not listed as separate devices Needing to re-authenticate with two factor authentication every time I use Splashtop on my iPad (mobile data) to connect to a machine - I wish it would register my MAC address as being authenticated instead of the IP address which keeps changing when using mobile data. It is very hard to get access to the full keyboard when connected to another machine via Splashtop on the iPad.
