“Assembly: Great Tool with Minor Glitches”

3.0
Mar 4, 2025
Assembly has a great idea and vision, the platform itself has been subject to consistent bugginess. They are always updating and altering the platform, and change is good! However, the random glitches are almost always present. The mobile version is particularly glitchy.

Performance of Assembly Across Market Features

Assembly Likes & Dislikes

Like

What we like most about Assembly is its social-network-style recognition feature, which makes it easy for employees to congratulate and recognize coworkers publicly. Thi has increased participation in recognition initiatives, improved visibility of achievements across teams, and contributed to a more positive and engaged workplace culture. The familiar, intuitive format encourages regular use and helps recognition feel natural rather than forced.

Like

Assembly is a great way to foster peer relationships and recognition. Announcements are easy to make, and it is great to be able to customize so much within the platform. Our company has particularly loved the reward options, and the individualized flows.

Like

Assembly is intuitive and easy to use. Recognizing team members is quick and broadcasting to the wider organization is seamless through integration with Slack, ensuring team members' contributions are not going unnoticed. When it comes time to redeem rewards, Assembly makes the process simple and smooth.

Dislike

As a user, I cant complain about anything.

Dislike

The updates almost always invite in new glitches. The mobile platform is difficult to access and needs some major tweaking. The updates often rearrange the entire platform and create more glitches.

Dislike

Additional app integrations and leveraging AI to make recognizing team members even smarter and easier could remove additional friction from the recognition process, potentially making me aware of others' accomplishments that could slip through the cracks and go unnoticed. Within larger organizations, recognition feeds and Slack channels can quickly become cluttered, making it difficult to see who from your own teams and groups are being recognized.
