1. Super upgrades and timely updates available. They try to add features often. 2. GUI is simple and easy to learn and use, even without training. 3. Report creation and representation and visualization is very simple.
I like how it is very easy to upload and organize the various documents throughout the platform. I also like how I can see each student's account and the amount of time that they are spending on each task. The benefit of time stamped assessments is great for recording achievement.
1. Roles of the admins and other members is not clearly defined. 2. There are app/module outages and those are frequent. 3. File size limitation of 3GB.
I dislike how in various discussion boards the posts would come out of order which caused some confusion for students who were actively participating in a discussion. I would also love to see some more options to do more types of assessments for students.

D2L is an excellent tool for the classroom
As a teacher I used D2L as a supplement for my daily lessons and for students to download assignments and participate in class discussion. I found the entire platform very user friendly and easy to navigate through. I was easily able to upload content for students and organize it by unit. The only issue I had was when multiple students were commenting on the same discussion post, they would often come out of order which caused confusion when trying to assess their work.
