I love the collaboration aspect of Canva. Being able to share your creations with others, not just as a view, but as a live edit, really makes it special. Especially when working with teams on varying projects. Files live like Google files within a Google Drive and can easily be shares via links or invitation. You can even create a folder for content you want to share with a specific team and not others if you will be building multiple assets over time. I also appreciate the branding and customization elements. You can create your own branding scheme and easily transfer it from project to project. Copying templates, colors, icons, and logos. Overall, a very user friendly platform and program to work with.
Easy to navigate and have teams navigate - intuitive in that sense.
We have found three major strengths with Canva: 1. The various tools and features allow for easily creating elements from scratch and manipulating them in finer-tuned ways as needed. 2. The suite of premade items is plentiful and often suits the exact type of presentation we need them for, especially with these elements being easily manipulated. 3. It is easy to not only connect with other individuals when working on documents, but also to export them in whatever format is needed.
My only gripe, as someone who has been designing learning materials and assets for some time, including most of my own images, training invitations, etc is that there are some awkward limitations that pop up from more advanced graphic artists/media specialists. The key being more photo manipulation and video editing. Most of the time I need to do advanced things, removing backgrounds, cleaning up pictures, video adjustments, I need to open these files in a different platform like Adobe Photoshop, Camtasia, iMovie, etc. I wish there were a few more features to clean and edit images and videos you upload and attach to you file.
Too many templates, allows you to begin too many products by ipening excessive windows and then you need to go back and collapse them, hoping you remember which one you used.
Some areas of refinement we have noticed in Canva are: 1. The AI generated content can use some refinement, as it sometimes makes things that are overly stylized or difficult to manipulate. 2. When it comes to organizing files as a team, it does come off as a little overwhelming that document thumbnails are much larger than the folders we are trying to put things in, making it hard to know where to look. 3. This is a more specific situation, but we have noticed that resizing tables can be a little confusing in terms of whether the item you are clicking on edits individual cells only vs. the entire table at once.

Easy Team Collaboration And Branding Customization Highlight Canva Experience
I have been a big user of Canva in the past, using it to help design everything from digital banners, images, invitations, etc to video thumbnails and more. It truly takes the difficulty out of designing professional looking resources and assets, providing you with meaningful templates to work off of. The process of saving your work is rather simple, and you have plenty of options with which to download your resource when you are complete. Canva even provides recommendations for your file type/resource and can even connect to third party vendors to print copies if needed. - Associate Director Of Special ProjectsGov't/PS/EdEducationReview Source

Canva Enterprise Enhances Design Speed But Faces Challenges With Advanced Editing
My overall experience with canva enterprise has been positive. It has made our design process faster, especially for teams that do not have a formal design background. The templates, brand kits and collaboration features help us maintain consistency across all marketing and internal communication materials. The interface is very intuitive and onboarding new team members is quick and easy. - Product Manager<50M USDMediaReview Source
Canva Centralizes Team Branding and Asset Creation With Ease
Majority of our use cases are very well catered-to by Canva. Especially the ability to create assets and use them across presentations, videos, posters and social posts. Our social media and graphics team extensively uses and reuses Canva elements, brand assets that we store there and certain custom templates that we have created for ourselves with great ease. This tool has helped us compile and reconcile all our graphics, branding and presentation related work in one place and has optimised it for the best outcomes. Some drawbacks related to offline management of working files but that is understandable - MARKETING MANAGER<50M USDMediaReview Source

The platform is fairly flexible and you can get some really good results with very little training.
