My overall experience with CareerBuilder has been good. The platform provides a large number of resume databases. Which is helpful for sourcing the candidates. I have noticed that some candidate information is not reflected, Actually less number of active profiles for IT people. Particularly for Non IT candidates, we mostly use CareerBuilder so it has been a support to sourcing Non IT candidates.

Like

CareerBuilder Talent Discovery product rate is lower when compared to other products like Monster and Dice. Career Builder Boolean search and filter options help to to find the right candidates. When compared to other platforms, the filtering process requires manually entering the employer details, which can be get time consuming. If I wokered for Non IT, it helps to get the profile because most of the Non IT people use Career Builder.

Rediscovering candidates and those recently active

I like both the filter and Advanced filter options, they make sourcing easier. I can migrate upto 10 profiles at a time, which saves time while working on multiple requirements. Sorting out recent active profiles from one week to 2 years is useful to get the right candidate

Dislike

In Career Builder which I most dislike, most of the candidate's contact details are not reflected for IT profiles. and very few active profiles for IT candidates. Sometimes search results take longer to load, particularly with critical Boolean searches. The Career Builder UI looks like an older version when compared to other platforms.

Many inactive profiles in the career builder and too Many Old profiles I look for 10 years experience candidates but it shows profiles with lesser experience profile mismatching happens.

    i've been using career builder for over 3 years, it's been a great experience using it as one of the sourcing platforms. Whenever we get a requirement from the client, especially on NON IT recruitement roles, i tend to use career builder as i can see many profiles for sourcing which is very helpful, i also source IT profiles from career builder, many niche profiles can be found here. With the help of filter and advanced filter options, i can source profiles as per my need. mostly recently active candidates are the ones who would be looking for a job opportunity, so i always use filter options to sort out profiles based on my convenience. it is useful for both IT and NON IT roles for sourcing, it's one of the best sourcing platforms i've used for 3+ years, and i recommend this platform for US Recruiters for sourcing good profiles.

    Great Outreach to Applicants however, the overall costs and clunky interface is what drove our change to another platform

    This product is great with advanced filters for identifying the perfect candidates needed for any role. You can reach out to multiple candidates at once with their automated system, however the overall cost effectiveness overrides the issues we do have with the inconsistency on integrating employee resumes from 3rd party sites.
