We're using CUCM as our internal PBX solution, integrated with Jabber for IM. The solution is great and stable. We have around 1000 users with different phone model. The system is connected to external world with PRI and SIP trunk, using CUBE. The redundancy is guaranteed by 3 different CUCM servers located in different sites.

    We purchased the Cisco Business Edition 6000H for the company. It is a low-cost solution that is easy to manage and use. It also has scale to support growth according to my need. The solution is not just IP Telephony, but it is also video conferencing, instant messaging, presence, and mobility. All this in just one hardware.

    Voice over IP (VoIP) system reliable although a bit unsafe due to lack of voice encryption

    It presents an improvement in the IP telephony, the preconfiguration is the complicated part, so always recommends that it be people specialist and that dominates the topic. Always let the sysadmins ask for a configuration and end up doing another one.

    The call manager business edition 6000 is a great solution for coroporate telephony systems, it allow us to have the entire telephony on a single device, we implemented it in 2014 and we are very satisfied with it´s performance, is very known that Cisco generally handle an excelent quality on their devices and in this case wasn´t the exception, the quality is very good and you have multiple features that you could use. the integration with Active Directory make the administration about user extensions very easy.
