Overall, bringing in Cisco Managed Network Services has brought a lot of stability to our infrastructure, but it hasn't been entirely hands-off. Having their team handle the heavy lifting of 24/7 network monitoring and routine patching has freed up our internal IT staff to focus on actual project rollouts rather than just keeping the lights on. The network uptime and hardware reliability have been excellent.

“Positive Security and Stability Observed in Cisco Networks Amid Communication Gaps”

3.0
May 5, 2026
I've had a generally positive experience with Cisco management network systems. The reliability and performance of the network has been strong and it's clear that the infrastructure was built with ability insecurity in mind. Their monitoring and support teams are responsive, which has helped minimize downtime and keep things running smoothly. That said, there's still some room for improvement at times communication around updates or issue resolution could be more proactive, and navigating support channels can occasionally feel overwhelming, overall it's a solid solution for businesses looking for dependable management network services.

Onboarding takes time while daily management proves reliable overall

    May 27, 2026
My org brought in managed security services covering our branch sites and remote workforce, firewall management, SWG and policy enforcement across our SD-WAN edge, and I have been interacting with them daily. Onboarding was a lil longer than expected, but once we were steady, the operational experience has been smooth and escalations are handled by people who understand the issue

User Sentiment About Cisco Managed Network Services
Deciding Factors: Cisco Managed Network Services Vs. Market Average
Performance of Cisco Managed Network Services Across Market Features

Cisco Managed Network Services Likes & Dislikes

Like

1. Proactive issue resolution: They frequently catch and mitigate latency spikes or hardware warnings before our end-users even notice a drop in performance or connection issues 2.Security and remote access integration: The way their management layer ties into our existing firewall and IPsec VPN infrastructure has made securing our perimeter and managing remote access much more reliable. 3. Deep technical benchmarking: Whenever we hit a wall with infrastructure scaling, their team provides architecture advice that is backed by enterprise-grade best practices, rather than just guessing what might work.

Like

What I like most about Cisco manage network services is the reliability, proactive support and strong security foundation. The network performance is consistently stable, which makes a big difference in day-to-day operations. Their monitoring and support teams are highly responsive and often address issues before they escalate. I also appreciate the built-in security features which provide confidence that the data is well protected.

Like

The responsiveness and SLA adherence is amazing, when I open a P1 or P2, I hear back fast and from someone who can do something, not just acknowledge the ticket. The NOC engineers are sharp and we don't usually need to re-explain things usually, which was a constant headache with the previous provider

Dislike

1. Escalation bureaucracy: For standard issues, support is rapid. But if we run into a highly complex or custom routing issue, getting past the initial support tiers to reach a specialized engineer takes far too much time. 2. Reporting dashboard rigidity: The management portal is fine for high-level overview, but trying to build custom reports or dig into granular, historical log data is clunky and frustrating to navigate. 3. SLA gray areas: There are times when an issue falls into a gray area between our internal equipment and their managed service boundary, leading to initial finger-pointing before the actual troubleshooting begins.

Dislike

One of the few downsides of the service is that communication can be inconsistent. Updates on tickets or incidents are not always as proactive or transparent as they should be. The support process can be a bit complex with multiple handoffs before issues are resolved.Third, customization and flexibility can't be limited.

Dislike

The reporting layer is somewhat annoying, standard reports are functional but not particularly insightful, and anything custom has to go through the account team instead of being self-service. The portal works fine but is old compared to some of the tools I use. Also, some engineers can make you re-iterate things, but that's not always the case.
