What stands out the most about Coupa is how user friendly and adaptable the platform is. It's easy for teams across different functions to use without much training, which really helped drive adoption and compliance. We also have the visibility and control that the platform provides - having real-time insights into spend, budgets, and supplier performance has made decision making faster and more data driven. The supplier network and collaboration tools are another major plus. They 've made onboarding and communication with suppliers smoother and more efficient, especially across global operations. Finally, Coupa's continuous innovation and strong customer support truly set it apart. The regular product enhancements, coupled with a proactive and responsive CVM and CAM team, show how invested Coupa is in its customers' success.
I particularly like that besides the onboarding of a new vendor which is done via Graphite, everything is centralized in Coupa, which is immensely helpful for collaboration!
What I appreciate most about Coupa is the level of ownership, visibility, and efficiency it brings to every part of our P2P process. Vendors have full control over their own profiles and onboarding, which has been a major advantage. This self-service model reduces back and forth emails and ensures cleaner, more accurate data. Coupa has empowered our internal teams. Each dept now has real-time visibility into the transactional data that impacts their P&L. They can review, reject, or request we dispute invoices at any point, creating stronger accountability. Reduction in supplier inquiries has been a huge benefit for AP. Suppliers can track the status of their invoices and payments at any time, which has decreased incoming inquiries and improved transparency for our partners. Coupa has created a streamlined, collaborative, and informative purchasing experience for everyone involved.
Honestly, there isn't much to dislike. The platform works seamlessly, and whenever we've faced challenges, the Coupa team has been quick to support and resolve them effectively.
The thing that comes first to mind is definitely the user experience. Managing contracts, requesting payment isn't fun at all so our experience would be much better if we could do it through an intuitive tool.
The one feature I dislike is the amount of invoices we can pay to one vendor at a time. We are limited to 300 invoices per vendor. Our vendors have recently requested we pay in one larger lump sum, rather than multiple small payments - this results in multiple remittance emails/adding time on the supplier's end to reconcile payments. Exporting reports are limited to 200K lines per report - this is challenging when I am running a line level report (even on a monthly basis) example: accruals There have been times when I am logged into Coupa and navigating through the platform has been a bit delayed.
