The best feature of the Coupa is integration of catalogues from other suppliers (punchouts) and RFQ processes. As for he RFQ it works very well if the templates are well set and for the punchouts, it minimizes updates since they are handled on the behalf of the supplier.
It effectively brings together Procurement, Vendor Risk, Corp Finance, and Legal teams together in workflows to collaborate throughout procurement and the vendor lifecycle. Coupa has several modules, which generally fit together well and provides a full vendor management and procurement service. Updating information in the platform is straightforward, though it is not easy to make bulk changes.
Its intuitive interface and real time visibility. Easy to track purchase orders, manage approvals and ensure compliance procurement policies.
One of the biggest problems is looking through the search history. It may be difficult to get good reports from several years ago and it is not as intuitive as you would expect. Even the search with keyword searches may fail to find the required information quickly.
1. Search bar does not always return what you are looking for and you need to modify your input sometimes. 2. Requisition, Invoice, and Form data in the platform have unique identifiers on the back end that you need to pay to have access to through Coupa Analytics. In other words, joining tables for metrics is very difficult unless you have Coupa Analytics in your contract and you pay for it. 3. Latency on the platform can sometimes be an issue - seems slower than other SaaS tools.

Very helpful to organize information on forms, invoices, requisitions. It helps to keep our growing vendor portfolio organized and the search feature helps to find information on existing vendors quickly. Support has sometimes lagged in responding to our requests or tried to schedule time outside our working hours. Also, renegotiating a contract and additional services that make more sense for our growing organization has been quite a challenge and long process.
