Criteo provides strong account support. Across our collaboration the Criteo team has been highly engaged, responsive and easy to reach. They offer weekly syncs, ad-hoc troubleshooting calls and extensive followup emails whenever needed. This level of presence has been a major advantage for us. The Commerce Growth platform has allowed us to run several successful campaigns and A/B tests. Criteo is proactive in suggesting new tests and strategic improvements. They also act quickly when bugs or problems appear.
It was really easy to set up. By providing a logo and our company colors the ads were set in a matter of days since the design happens on Criteos end.
Strong retargeting performance with consistently high ROI and scalable reach. Excellent account team - proactive, responsive and really understand our business. Smooth integration. Ability to complement existing channel and extend reach beyond walled gardens.
The biggest challenge we face is data transparency and measurement clarity. The underlying data on Criteo's side is sometimes difficult to interpret or even difficult to obtain. This sometimes slows analysis and can delay decision-making. Additionally, the platform can occasionally feel pushy on new products or beta features before we can properly validate the business impact. Innovation is, however, always welcome for us. The Commerce Growth platform is not always easy to use and it takes a little while to understand the structure. Especially if we want to see tracking parameters for several ads at the same time, it's not so easy to do. The same goes for audiences.
It's really not that customizable. You can get rid of certain ad layouts by emailing them over to the success team, but then they mentioned the ads might not perform as well if all the layouts weren't showing. However, from a visual standpoint, not all of the layouts showed off our company in the best way.
