We have been using Darktrace for just about 2 months now, the platform has been brilliant so far and it was picking up things that our old provider was missing. We have a team of people from Darktrace that are helping us with training, issues and questions and so far they have been able to resolve everything. Our users haven't complained about the new service and it's now protecting the company more with the identity module and the dmarc module as well which all tie in together to fully protect the company.
The platform itself is brilliant and so easy to use, the mobile app is one of the features that made us go with Darktrace as you can remediate issues straight away if needed as the AI will automatically block or lock users out if it thinks their account is doing something it doesn't usually do etc.

The organization had a Darktrace demo a year before I joined, in which the appliance learned about the environment. Initial experience with support was excellent as Darktrace Sales Team were keen to close deal. The actual technology has brought fantastic value in terms of insight and protection of logical network and mail. However, overall technical support has waned since we have had the service.

Darktrace Mail, Threat Visualizer and SaaS Platform have been invaluable and critical to the protection of our business. The ability for the service/appliance to take autonomous actions based on models off the patterns it has learned and what I have set is critical to running our department.
Stability and reliability of the solution. Working easily without the need of several hours to admin it. You CAN do it, but you don't have to. The onboarding is really well guided in step by step workshops over time.
For support tickets we have to chase the team we are working with sometimes
Technical support can only be contacted through the Support Portal. It is nigh impossible to reach someone by phone. In the last two years, issues are rarely 100% resolved by Darktrace.
You can discuss about the price, but if you think about 24/7 network protection and email security on a next level, it is worth to invest.

The granny, overwatching your street to identify all bad guys - 24/7
We have been using Darktrace for network protection and also OT protection for several years and see that it works. Many security systems may work, but with Darktrace you see how it interprets behaviour and activities. This ranges from user behaviour, commands in OT up to systems accessing others. It may act sometimes quicker than you expect but at the end of the day it was always an unusual behaviour it prevented - even an admin started it ;-). We trust in the system and it allows us to sleep better as we know that there is "one" on patrol in the network. Email also provides a very powerful extension of our email secruity concept. Behavioral Analysis Enhances Threat Detection but May Flag Legitimate Emails Occasionally
Darktrace/Email uses behavioral analysis to find the email patterns received/sent by users across the organization. It detects threats, compromises, and phishing emails that could cause inside risks. If the email is highly suspicious, DT will hold the email from reaching users, so that risk will be decreased. This happens when an email contains malicious links or attachments, emails received from spoofed domains, or unusual senders. So that a SOC analyst can analyze the email and take appropriate action.
