The biggest standout is the customizable dashboards and being able to view logs, metrics and traces all in a single location to have a clear picture of everything, which eliminates the need to switch between platforms.

1- fast load time 2- easy on the eyes 3- ingests data via webhooks

The only thing I like least is the price complexity, a little higher and not easy to predict.

1- requires analytical mind for teams that dont neccessarily have that experience

It's a good product. Nee to integrate with each application and some code enhancement or extension in containers in cloud and Datadog works for what it mentions. Overall good product and useful when you really need it.

we use datadog for alert monitoring and logs. We use it for oncall and to detect issues before they happen. For example if storage becomes full on databases, an expensive query is taking too long, etc.
