Fully fledged Policy, Rating, Billing and Claims systems with a built in BMS with the party system that allows us to easily implement new products and roll them out in a timely manner.
Support team continues to improve as does the product itself
The product is very flexible and allows for our company to do business as it needs.
Upgrading versions has always been a big pain point where there are customizations. These projects can take many months to complete and many times require reaching out to Duck Creek for expert assistance when blockers are found. Utilizing the new DCOD system really restricted what a client was able to resolve by themselves easily. There are now new tools that need to be learned with DCOD to achieve certain things where as some pieces will always require assistance from DC, negating the self sufficiency of OnPrem versions. (This is also the nature of SaaS solutions)
US Support team was much weaker than Paris, DCR still has many gaps, DCR SOX support has been subpar
Difficulty in finding employees with experience in Author.

Ongoing Support and Data Issues Lead to Dissatisfied Customer
We hired Duck Creek Professional Services to help us implement the DMS product, but anywhere the professional services team customized code it has proven to be unreliable and we have ended up having to scrap most of what they did and redevelop simpler solutions on our own. The Duck Creek professional services team rolled off the project on their schedule leaving us with many unresolved critical issues. Duck Creek Professional Services often reintroduced problems that were previously resolved because they lacked adequate code versioning processes. We have also had to build our own applications on the side to fill in where DMS is not meeting expectations.
