Company Description
Element's head office is in London, UK with entities also in France, Germany and the US. Founded in 2016 by Matthew Hodgson and Amandine Le Pape, Element has over 100 employees spread across 20 countries. They include software engineers, commercial executives, product managers and support staff. Element shares its founders with Matrix: a decentralised, open standard for real-time communication. Today Element still employees the majority of core team who established Matrix. Element's mission is to protect the world's progress. Organizations need real-time communication whilst maintaining the sovereignty of their data.

With Element, I like that creating group chats is easy It promotes remote working environment thanks to easy communication and collaboration
Element continually improves its features and provides excellent support making it a reliable choice for our evolving collaboration needs. The threaded conversations feature helps keep discussions organized and making it easier to follow long and complex discussions.
I really like the way it brings people together , whatever application they use. Someone might think it can be overwhelming but actually it has peak performance with interoperable communication using bridges. While working sometime there are outages that are unplanned for. Element, covers these outages or net work failures without loosing data with a fully synched enterprise wide data backup. I can tweak all the settings to my own preferences ranging from light mode, dark mode, a wide range of themes. These improve productivity with room hierarchies with great configurations and widgets.
Element has performed as expected. No dislikes.
The platform can be resource intensive in terms of memory and CPU usage which can sometimes slow down older devices.
There was a time back when i created a room and while sharing the name of the room to my colleagues to search and join. They couldn't find the room and ended up using the share link option that wasn't really favorable. while joining rooms on Element, I only have the option of joining rooms separately as I have to personally look into the room so as to join. It would be lovely if I just joined this rooms all at once. Element isn't quite well known out there yet, without that extensive usage of users it can be a it overwhelming to communicate with others but overall we are all connected on Element.

Element- A step towards owning your communication
Element is superb overall because they offer world-class secure collaboration with end to end encryption this enables trust between me the user and the platform. Its Zero trust cloud system is just a boost to my claims as this provides me to either choose between owning a private cloud or just self hosting my own server. These servers on the other hand decentralized and scattered over lots of servers all over the world, this design enables me as the user to have undivided attention during downtimes. Its awesome how both the video and the chat are both conjoined ,Admin bots is a feature that's unique to me here. It keeps me in control in all of my chatrooms. Audit bot on the other hand is visible in rooms and keeps a record of conversations for compliance.
