While Tecsys is a great application and meets the needs of the warehouse, implementing/upgrading the product and keeping the lights on is a bit of a struggle at times. We still need to resolve some issues with manual SQL updates.

I like how it handles inventory, being able to track expiry dates and move stock quickly is huge and that was very important to us
Tecsys iTopia offers options for customers to customize views and even create custom tables and screens to provide functionality that does not exist in the standard product. This has been a nice feature of the product.
Once you learn the system, it's easy to use. The support team is very responsive and quickly resolves issues.
it can be tricky sometimes and some of the features feels limited a bit, also we didn't feel that it was very customizable so that was a bit frustrating sometimes. We understand that nothing will match our operations excatly but i wish it was a bit more customizeable
Periodically we run into issues with record locking or system processing sequence that create data errors that need to be resolved via SQL statements. While support has been very responsive to these issues, the identification of root cause to resolve the underlying issue has been a challenge.
The amount of time it took to implement and train the users took some time. There was a learning curve, but all in all a works well once you get the hang of it.
