FigJam

I like how collaborative FigJam is. The ability to quickly sketch out ideas, leave contextual comments, and collaborate in real time with designers and stakeholders makes it a valuable part of our product development process. Its seamless integration with Figma also allows for a smooth transition from ideation to polished designs.

I probably enjoy the fact that it is so easy to get started the most. Since you typically would use this service as a collaboration tool, you don't want to have to spend too much time on getting everyone into the service or having to sign up first. With FigJam it is very easy to invite anyone to your board.

What I enjoy about Figjam is how natural it feels to brainstorm with other people. You just open a board and in that space everyone else who is invited can start tossing ideas around. Flow digrams, sticky notes, doodles, little reactions all of it help conversations flow without getting stiff

FigJam can sometimes struggle with performance on large boards and I've found it to have very limited offline functionality when compared to some of its peers. Additionally, the pricing model (particularly around editor seats) can be confusing or frustrating for a larger team like ours.

I don't love the UI of FigJam that much and find that other services with a cleaner look are easier on the eye and perhaps a bit more enjoyable to use.

Sometimes the tool feels more playful when I am trying to run a focused working session, this extra reaction which is present can distract team members. Search in the board is not great, so finding an old note feels like digging through a messy drawer. and last when you need more structure layouts you end up wrestling with spacing instead of thing about the actual problem.
