Flexibility, a web app that works on any mobile device, ease of use and a variety of modules and features that make managing your FM teams and operations a dream.
Ease of use for end users to be able to get support has been the biggest plus for our organization. Before we were using separate software for scheduling and ticketing that was linked to emails. There was no user portal at all. This process was very cumbersome, but FMX has made it easy for users to submit support requests and get the help they need all in one place.
Meets our needs and is configurable. Cost effective. Makes my job easier.
The mobile app (not the web app) needs further attention - It is new, but I know the FMX team is working on improvements. The ability to build custom dashboards - I know it's in the pipeline and I can't wait to use it. That being said, the existing intuitive dashboards are very good! A document centre/hub giving properties or individuals access to certain critical documents in a centralized space would be AMAZING!
Inventory management is not as streamlined as we had hoped it would be initially. There is an option to generate QR codes for each piece of equipment, but these codes only link to the URL in FMX with the equipment record. They do not contain actual usable data, like serial numbers for instance, that can be used to scan into spreadsheets, etc. There is also quite a steep learning curve to getting all the permissions and setup configured. There are a lot of options for customization to your particular needs, but this comes with the cost of complexity.
Sometimes it is too robust. One person overseeing all modules can be overwhelming.

After many years in the Facilities Management industry working with various CAFM, CMMS, and task management systems, I finally discovered FMX - and it truly stands out. FMX ticks all the boxes we needed to successfully roll out a centralized Facilities Management "hub" across multiple countries and buildings throughout Africa. User adoption has been faster than with any other system I've implemented in the past, thanks to its intuitive interface and outstanding flexibility. The FMX team's customer service has been exceptional from day one and continues to impress a year later. I don't foresee us switching to any other platform - in fact we plan to expand and integrate even more FMX modules in the future.
