Single source of brand truth: Guidelines, templates and assets are easier to find, trust, and reuse Usability & adoption: The interface is intuitive enough that non-technical users can work independently, which is crucial for internal scale Collaboration & governance: Helpful for aligning multiple stakeholders and keeping content controlled without blocking process
Its main strength is its usability. Having a single source of truth for our brand has been so valuable. Anyone (with the correct permissions) can easily and quickly create guides or content in seconds. There is just the right amount of design customization to allow pages to feel engaging, whilst also ensuring they feel consistent. The asset libraries load and download extremely quickly. Creating private, or sharable links to sections or the entire guide is very easy.
Frontify combines a clear structure, strong usability, and high flexibility for brand governance. Guidelines are easy to maintain and scale, adoption is high, and the support team is excellent fast, responsive and genuinely helpful.
Advanced configuration can require expertise: Some setups and governance models take some time to get (roles, structures, permissions, long-term information architecture) Ongoing content maintenance is a real effort: Like any brand platform, value depends on disciplined ownership and lifecycle management Integration/automation expectations need planning: If you aim for deep integrations or highly automated workflows, you'll want to define requirements early and align with IT
I wish you could embed libraries within pages themselves. I think the logo libraries could also work differently; again, embedding in the page would be great. When we launched a new brand guide, we had an unusually high volume of traffic that triggered some additional security on the Frontify side. I wish there was a way to avoid that.
Some advanced features require onboarding to be fully understood. At times, permissions and role management feel slightly complex for large organisations.
