We brought in Microsoft Fabric mainly to reduce constant context switching across Azure tools. Earlier our ingestion and reporting were siloed and maintaining governance across disconnected pipelines had become a real headache. The move OneLake has been the biggest win. It cut down data duplication and made access more consistent across teams. Power BI integration was quite smoother than expected especially for real time use cases. With Synapse Real Time intelligence we are now catching data changes as they happen instead of waiting for batch updates. This is not a plug and play shift. Teams used to standalone Azure services will face a learning curve adjusting to Fabric's unified approach. Cost forecasting was also tricky at the start. The competition based model, particularly the Capacity Units (CU) took time to understand. Monitoring usage closely from day one is important to avoid surprises.

IBM watsonx has been a transformative platform for our enterprise AI and decision intelligence initiatives. As a senior practitioner who has led multiple deployments, I've found it remarkably well-suited for organizations that need to operationalize AI at scale while maintaining strong governance, explainability, and data residency controls. The integrated experience across watsonx.ai, watsonx.data, and watsonx.governance significantly reduces the friction of moving from experimentation to production. Model choice flexibility (IBM Granite plus open and third-party foundation models), the ability to tune and prompt-engineer in a unified studio, and the lakehouse architecture under watsonx.data have meaningfully accelerated our time-to-insight. Support from IBM and the partner ecosystem has been responsive and consultative throughout.

The platform was especially effective in connecting analytical models with operational business rules without forcing heavy redevelopment cycles. One unexpected strength was how business and analytics teams could collaborate on decision flows with fewer translation gaps compared to traditional rule engines. However, onboarding and optimization require experienced resources, particularly for organizations moving from fragmented decision systems.

Sapiens Decision has been a transformative platform for our enterprise decision management needs. The model-driven approach using The Decision Model (TDM) methodology allowed our business analysts to capture, validate, and govern complex business logic in a way that traditional rules engines simply cannot match. The separation of business decisions from underlying processes and code dramatically reduced our time-to-market for regulatory and policy changes, and the platform's ability to generate executable artifacts straight from business-friendly logic has been a game changer for our IT and business alignment.
