What I like most about Google Cloud Platform is its reliability and flexibility in managing infrastructure.The platform provides strong networking capabilities,advanced IAM controls,and seamless scalability across multiple regions.The integration with monitoring and logging tools like Cloud Monitoring and Cloud Logging also makes it easy to maintain visibility and control over the entire environment.
Google Cloud provided us the tools for our data storage as our previous was outdated. The integration of the product was pretty smooth into our current system. The security of the Google Cloud seems very trustworthy.
* I like how you can find anything just by typing, and in some cases find documentation or some products or tools that maybe you don't know about GCP in your console. * The integration with gemini in projects that you have, helping you manage some products like BigQuery, Cloud Run or stuff like that, it's pretty helpful and i really like it. * It's an easy, not difficult menu, no difficult terms, easy way to interact with your product, integration with Looker to manage performance, cost, historical jobs, it's like merging everything that is great here.
The platform is powerful but can feel complex during the initial configuration,especially around networking and IAM.Pricing transparency and billing details could also be more straightforward.
We had teething problems getting used to the data storage. Google Cloud was expensive for a non-profit organization. Down the road, we might find it hard to switch vendors should the need arise.
* In some cases, the marketplace is not the place you are shopping for something, paying and then starting to use it, you have to pass through partners. * Documentation in some cases is pretty old, and maybe you can find some link that it's depreciated but there are not some other solution. * Managing cost talking about forecasting it's not an easy task.
