Meetings can be joined directly through a browser, saving time and it is incredibly simple to use, even for new users. The best thing about it in my opinion, is how well it integrates with Google Workspace tools like Gmail, Calendars, and Drive, which truly keeps everything connected. The audio and video quality are generally stable and clear most of the time
Security, reliability and Integration
I like how Google Meet has its own clean, distraction-free experience. It starts quickly and does not require complicated setup and also runs smoothly across different devices. The real-time captions and easy screen sharing are very helpful, and the tight integration with Google tools makes online meetings feel effortless and organized.
The advanced controls for webinars, large conferences and engagement tracking are missing from the free versions. I would say that the chat features within meetings are very basic and not suitable for in-depth discussions and background effects and noise cancellations are not as impressive as other platforms
Connectivity issues and there is a participation plan in some plans.
Some useful features are limited to paid plans and the customization options are quite basic also advanced meeting controls and layout options feel restricted compared to other video conferencing tools.
