GoToMyPC: Convenient Though A Bit Technically Limited
Despite the ability to use a VPN to access many of my work-related files and apps, sometimes I truly just need to be able to access my desktop. GoToMyPC helps bridge the gap when I have no other ways forward. For example, Zoom often wants me to verify my laptop's login via sending a code to my desktop So, I use GoToMyPC. Sometimes I leave a file open and need to see the changes I made. It's great to have in my back pocket. With that, it is somewhat a pain to navigate going from two screens on my desktop at work to one screen on my home laptop. It does an okay job, but it is a little glitchy.
