HireRight offers quite a comprehensive screening service. We are a very global company and we've been able to tailor our screening packages to specific countries and occupations, which meets are different business needs. Fortunately, the tool integrates well with our Applicant Tracking System, Lever, which can save time and automate some of the admin tasks of requesting a new screen for a candidate. Although I don't have first-hand experience, our candidates have provided us feedback that they they felt supported by HireRight, receiving clear and structured requests from them, and providing support when needed.

As a user of the product, my biggest complaint is the customer service they provide. When we've encountered issues, especially more technical ones such as an integration, we often can have days pass with no response, with our customer success manager not truly understanding the issue, and not coming to a resolution. HireRight does a great job of taking notes and making sure they track any action taken. However, this can sometimes create a long list of logs which can become confusing to navigate, making the platform feel cumbersome. I've also encountered times where, when reviewing their notes, it feels that they fail to verify easily confirmable information. When we need to review completed reports, we have to check every discrepancy, review documentation and get in touch with candidates again. This gives a sense that we are essentially doing the job of the service we're paying for.
Sometimes i feel like the system gives updates in its own mood. You log in expecting answers, but it feels like it wants you to come back later. A bit more real time clarity would help.
