Their user friendly platform and their support team is great! It's very easy to get my job done when I know how to do it, and with them it was really easy to understand.

Customer service can be unresponsive sometimes.

Cost higher for extensive checks

Sometimes the return times can be a bit slower than expected, however I'm fully aware that in some cases this is completely out of their control as they can't get some of the information right away if 3rd parties are required to provide the information.

Sterling has been a reliable provider for professional background checks on potential new hires, which is a crucial part of the hiring process. The platform itself is very user friendly and intuitive which makes it very easy to submit requests. I've mostly used it for reference and professional background checks more than criminal background checks. Their customer support has always been great, very quick and responsive to address and resolve any issues I've had.

The console is easy to use once you find your way around but we did not really get any initial training on it. The customer service and follow up after the sale was not good. we have gone through several account reps. some were very helpful and some were not. they never have contacted us to let us know when they change our account reps either so there's been times we are trying to get ahold of our rep only to find out they are no longer our rep
