Ease of customisation. Data and KPI tracking capabilities. Ease of integration with other tools.
very user friendly, easy to use out of the box without having to customize via programmer
It's marketplace of pre-built integrations is a huge pro. This reduces development time and cost. I am able to add a new integration and have it up and running with very little time and effort. I also like how user friendly the UI/UX is with Hubspot. For our team, this was the first CRM they were introduced to for sales so this was key. And from an administrative standpoint, their help center is really useful. Hubspot makes it really easy to effectively learn to be your own administrator even if you aren't super technical. And one other thing that I really like is their automation, specifically workflows. Workflows are visual and very easy to learn and use on the fly. Hubspot is also constantly working on updates and improvements, I mean constantly. Which is good because it gives you confidence that they are always going to be trying to stay as up to date and current as possible. There have been times where a feature I wanted did not exist and then a few months later they released it.
Perhaps the interface could be a little cleaner and less cluttered overall. While overall it's fairly easy to use, the configuration can be a bit of a labyrinth at times, but nothing that a bit of patience shouldn't solve. It lacks a little in terms of automated suggestions and automatically associating notes/deals with contacts/companies.
not geared towards highly customized sales environments, limited use case if you have a higher complexity of data needs and integrations.
There aren't many big issues but here are a few things I would change. First, this is probably the biggest, is they don't support phone calls through the mobile app. You can call out but you cannot receive calls on the app. You are required to have a specific call screen open on your desktop and only then you can only receive inbound calls on your desktop. We have to work around this by not even using HubSpot calling and just integrating a separate calling app from another brand. Another thing is I would like their NetSuite integration to have a little more to it. Sometimes I am able to sync one custom field, but not another, and without any real explanation of why. That integration lacks a little more flexibility in the criteria section as well. Also, the integration takes a LONG time to do it's initial sync. And if you make any changes to the integration it requires that sync to completely run through again, which holds up other syncs for days. And then lastly, there is some lack of functionality in the sequences. Specifically stopping a sequence when a phone call is logged. It will stop a sequence when it recognizes other types of interactions but not phone calls, which doesn't make any sense. And workarounds to accomplish this are hard to find or very complex and often don't perfectly work.
