Performance of IBM Business Automation Workflow Across Market Features
IBM Business Automation Workflow Likes & Dislikes
1. Process Integration: The way it connects workflows, case management and automation services in one place is very impressive. It gives a clear view of how everything connects. 2. Robustness: Once configured, it runs without loosing a sweat. You can trust it to handle large-scale, critical workflows without crashing or lagging. 3. Customization: One can tweak almost everything. It's flexible if you know what you are doing
process visibility is good. it works as it should
Its capacity to create and automate intricate workflows on a single platform is the characteristic that I value the most. The flexibility to model business processes and adjust them as requirements change is excellent. The ability to integrate with other enterprise systems, which enables smooth data flow and process execution, is another feature I appreciate.
1. UI: The interface is quite dated and some parts of the designer tools are clunky to use compared to modern automation platforms 2. Complex Setup: Setting it up takes a lot of time. It's not beginner friendly, it's for the enterprise demographic and a professional person with experience is required to set it up. 3. Learning Curve: The documentation is detailed but a little bit scattered. One has to spend a lot of time to figure things out by trial and error.
niche expertise / steep learning curve. hard to find ocumentation
The primary difficulty with IBM is the intricacy of the initial setup and configuration process, because it's such a powerful and feature-rich platform. It can take time for new users to get up to speed. Furthermore, for certain features to be implemented successfully, technical know-how or assistance from IT teams may be needed. Despite the platform's great capabilities, these considerations may cause onboarding to proceed more slowly than it would with more straight forward work tools.

Powerful Automation and Customization Offset by Dated Interface and Complex Setup
I was earlier using IBM Business Automation Workflow in my old org and I'll say honestly it was a was a solid platform to use. It's second to none when it comes to complex enterprise processes and it brings together workflow and case management pretty well. I think it's more catered to enterprise use only. If someone takes the time and is ready to give some hours in learning then it shows how powerful a piece of software it is. Overall I'd say it's reliable, stable and capable, but the ui is not the most modern. - MARKETING MANAGER50M-1B USDSoftwareReview Source

Overall the product has improved visibility with the dashboard functionality to help my team identify bottlenecks in business processes. We can focus our time on what matters most without the chore of manually consolidated KPI data.
