what we like most is the platform's flexibility and comprehensive automation capabilities it allows us to streamline complex business processes integrate easily with existing systems and gain better visibility and control over workflows all while being supported by IBM's responsive team
IT management for our Content Management and BAW workflows got simplified and with the same resources we can focus on our next steps for automation.
It is comprehensive, allows us to automate workflows and general business processes in one area and it also integrates seamlessly with the rest of our infrastructure. Users find it easy to work with and whilst I wasn't involved in the initial setup, ongoing use by myself and other users is positive.
The main challenge is the initial learning curve. Some features can be complex to set up and require time to fully understand but with guidance from IBM's support team it becomes much easier to use effectively
The implementation of the suite using Azure cloud platform and Redhat was not as expected because of product minor bugs, required several workarounds executed by the IBM partner including plenty of IBM support time than expected.
The implementation process is lengthy and users took a while to be fully trained on the platform however this is to be expected with the size of our organisation and trying to consolidate processes. The pricing structure when we come to renewals can be complex, it takes many areas of the business to work through approvals but again, not uncommon for a business of our size with multiple infrastructures across multiple areas of the group.
