Performance of IBM Digital Credentials Across Market Features
IBM Digital Credentials Likes & Dislikes
Probably the open standards support. The fact that it aligns with W3C verifiable credentials, SD-JWT and others means that we're not locked into a proprietary black box.
Good recipient experience, strong governance and standardization, the program visibility and it scales well operationally.
Secure verification, User Control and Industry Recognition
The documentation is really inconsistent across versions. For example, when migrating from the older IBM Verify Identity Access setup to the new Digital Credentials module, the migration path wasn't clearly documented at all.
I would say the integration complexity as well as gaps in bulk actions and automation, there is also limitation to the reporting and analytics.
The service was comparatively slow as per our experience
