I like how well IBM RPA connects with AI and its strong security setup. Using AI integration, it lets us create smart automations rather than simple rule-based tasks. The platform's governance and auditing tools are also excellent helping us maintain compliance and protect sensitive information.
IBM Robotic Process Automation has excellent cloud service integration, flexible on-premises & in cloud, scripting support and scheduling with execution tools with dashboard reports for real time monitoring.
It saves time and reduces errors at the same time, it allows me to focus on more important work. few more points that I like about it are its strong integration with other IBM tools, flexible deployments, and its security.
One of the main downsides is the developer experience which feels outdated and harder to use. This slows down development and increases the learning curve for new engineers. Simple tasks can require extra coding or manual workarounds and there aren't many pre built connectors for non-IBM tools.
IBM RPA should focus on increasing the control center mechanism to solve the in-house issues, service support and risk management which is very much required in todays world of cyber security problems.
Both products and services have their own limitations, but the primary drawback of this tool is its process automation includes a steep learning curve and the need for technical expertise during implementation, sometimes the user interface and development environment are less intuitive compared to leading competitors.
