I've been using Jira for the past 11 years across 3 different SaaS companies. Each had their own unique setup, workflows, and even use-cases for how they had Jira implemented, but our setup at my current company has been the best by far. We are using an AI powered tool ( can't be named here, I guess) that gets you insights that help you notice issues before they escalate.
Plus, it really encourages everyone to be transparent about project status so the whole team knows what’s going on from the get-go. This openness motivates everyone to take responsibility and helps build strong teams that tackle problems early on and stay focused on their goals together.
Traditional reporting often comes too late to make necessary changes. By being proactive and embracing transparency with some AI support, teams can adapt and improve on their own. The key is to catch issues early and empower teams to make adjustments as needed.
AI plays a role in all team decisions, like a performance coach, and also helps out at the management level. It identifies risks and suggests improvements for senior executives.

Powerful project management tool with great features but a learning curve for new users.
My overall experience with jira has been very good, it helps our team to manage tasks, track bugs, and monitor project progress in organized way. It works well for agile teams and improves transparency between team members. Comprehensive and Collaborative Product Roadmapping Tool with Room for Interface
We are using this software to track project progress and to link and then track issues related to same project which can be further prioritized and assigned to the right stake holder. By using Jira, we are able to maintain all the project related items at one place which is making it easy for everyone in team to view and access any project related stuff/document without having to have any dependency on anyone. Currently we have also started to track the leave on Jira dashboard.
