The focus of the company is on developing solutions to manage, monitor and protect all passwords, secrets and remote connections of your organization. The main problem it aims to resolve revolves around information security, with a particular emphasis on ensuring zero-trust security.
Do You Manage Peer Insights at Keeper Security?
Access Vendor Portal to update and manage your profile.
We primarily usue it for secure record keeping and credential management, and it performs well in that rolle. One-Time Share functionality is especially valuable for securely providing access to vendors or contractors on a short-term basis. The ability to segregate and restrict admin access by group has helped us enforce least-privilege access and reduce risk. Additional features we appreciate include strong auditing and visibility, granular permission controls and overall ease of use.
The best part of this product is sharing login information securely amongst our team and adding or removing users who need access. It also helps us create stronger, more secure passwords.
The ease of use is the best feature. It is extremely easy to use and if you have more than one credential for a site it lets you choose which one to use, as in admin and regular log in. The password changing feature is a game changer. It is amazing to just click through and have Keeper change the password and update itself, the best part is if the password doesn't take it will revert back and let you try again.
Folder sharing and duplication could be more flexible. You can't copy a folder and selectively share it with another group unless the folder is already shared, which limits reuse. While copying individual records is a workaround, it's more manual and inefficient than copying the folder itself to another group. SSO reliability can be occasionally inconsistent. After PC reboots, SSO doesn't always work immediately and clearing the browser cache as directed by support still doesn't fix it. At times access requires waiting, using an incognito session and then having an admin approve access for the time being. I don't like having to log into an admin portal that's separate to approve another user's access. I get the need for additional security but that's a bit of a hassle to log into another portal.
The auto-fill feature is everywhere and it can get in the way a lot of the time. Our team has had to turn off the auto fill feature on some sites because the Keeper icon pops up on every possible fillable space and it's a hinderance.
We have experienced a few instances where when using auto fill and as an admin working on someone's profile on a program's website it will change the email address over to mine or my username. Some sites are hard to type in boxes when it is set up to have the keeper icon button automatically show up in the box when signing in. The Keeper dot takes up the entire box, and you can't click anywhere. Autofill and submit is a great overall idea but sometimes it just doesn't work the best in the event you need to choose a different profile to sign in with.
