Keepit has been great to work with, they have provided great customer support and worked with us to make this an affordable solution for our institution. There solution backs up our GWS user data and has been used to restore data in the past.

The solution was very easy to set up and configure, which allowed our team to get it up and running quickly, and also to make new changes simply. The day-to-day administration is straightforward and doesn't require significant time or investment to perform administrative tasks. Finally, the platform makes both full restores and granular, individual file, recoveries simple and efficient.

The simplicity and reliability stand out the most. Backups are automatic, restores are fast and granular, and the independent storage adds an extra layer of security. The transparent pricing model is also a big advantage.

The initial deployment and implementation had to be tweaked. This was due to an all or nothing configuration requiring all of our accounts to be backed up. Eventually we had to go back and tweak exactly what we wanted backed up and what we didn't want backed up. This required configuring the solution to easily identify what was necessary and what wasn't. I've yet to see the ability to integrate this solution with our SIEM tool to gather logs into our central repo. Finally, this tool appears to have limited flexibility for reporting.

as already mentioned, it is quite slow to operate I am afraid how long the restore might take in case of an emergency

Reporting and customization options could be a bit more advanced, especially for organizations looking for deeper analytics. Otherwise, it performs well for core backup needs.

I love the product I have used it for its intended use and have used it for none intended use by generating a link with time and PW expiration to share sensitive data out of peoples ODFB by having them make a folder and ensuring security can look it over before sending it out keeping out company safe and complaint.
