Performance of Kissflow Across Market Features
Kissflow Likes & Dislikes
1. The standout strengths of Kissflow include its easy-to-use low-code workflow designer, which allows teams to build and customize processes quickly. Its drag-and-drop interface and form builder make developing automated workflows straightforward, even for complex legal processes. 2. The platform's flexibility with custom logic, multi-step approvals, and conditional routing has helped streamline legal request workflows. It also simplifies the understanding of an application structure via usage of key components of an application such as data forms, workflows and integrations. 3. A standout highlight is the simplified and structured approach Kissflow offers for building application logic. The platform's built-in actions and integration framework make it highly intuitive to connect data, orchestrate workflows and automate decision steps, all while maintaining transparency in how each component functions.
I have used it for about 10 years, its quick to knock out work flows and processes in.
1. Low-code and business-friendly : The platform is easy to understand and use. Creating approval flows or updating existing workflows can be done quickly, even by non-technical users. 2. Reduction in manual effort : Several approvals that were earlier email-driven are now automated. This has saved a lot of follow-up time and reduced dependency on individuals. 3. Improved visibility and accountability: Status tracking, alerts and audit logs make it clear where a request is stuck and who needs to act, which was not possible earlier. 4. Reliable Reminders : Automated reminders have personally helped me avoid missing pricing uploads, which was a frequent issue earlier due to email overload. 5. Audit Friendly: Since its a digital workflow tool, audit logs helps the management and users to view the past requests and clarify the queries.
1. Debugging complex workflows can be challenging, as it is not always easy to identify the exact point where a process fails or logic needs adjustment. 2. Performance can be slow down when working with very large datasets, especially during data-heavy operations or multi-step workflow executions. 3. More granular version control would be helpful, particularly in cases where we need to iterate frequently and need clearer visibility into changes across forms, data structures and workflow logic.
Its Indian based so the support desk hours don't match EST. While they are pretty good, English is not their first language and this shows in the documentation and in Teams meetings etc They do really try hard and they do really care. They don't just blow you off if there is an issue.
Limited reporting and Analytics : For deeper or customized analysis, we still depend on external BI tools. Native reporting capabilities could be stronger. Integration constraints : Currently, there is no direct way to connect Kissflow with our BI tools, which limits advanced automation possibilties. Data and comment limitations : The row limit when pulling data from external tool like smartsheet is restrictive for large datasets. Also, the comment character limit feels a bit short for explaining approvals clearly.

Intuitive Low-Code Platform Streamlining Workflow Development, With Some Room for Technical Improvements
My overall experience with Kissflow has been great, and we have relied on Kissflow as a workflow automation tool for the legal side of our business. That said, Kissflow has helped our team streamline many of our approval processes and reduce the need for manual handoffs. I develop internal applications, and I think the low-code setup is an incredible fit for my needs because it lets me go from ideas about workflows directly to process apps in a very short period. As mentioned, we automated workflows that used to be highly dependent on email, leading to faster turnarounds and more consistency in operations. The interface is still intuitive as I build out more complex logic, which has kept enhancements pretty straightforward. A huge positive feature is the responsiveness of the Kissflow support team. Whenever, I had questions or ran into unexpected behavior, they were extremely quick to respond with practical guidance and clear next steps. These points have combined to make a strongly positive customer experience. While improvements to the debugging toolset and performance when working with large data sets would be welcome, the overall product experience and the quality of support have been consistently strong. - Data Analyst1B-10B USDSoftwareReview Source
Kissflow: Driving Operational Value with Low-Code Workflow Automation
I have been using Kissflow for a little over 1 year as a part of our supply chain operations team Our role mainly focusses on building workflows, automating manual activities, and improving process efficiency to save operational effort. Kissflow came in at the right time for us, as many of our processes were still dependent on emails and manual follow-ups. Before Kissflow, alot of requests, especially Item pricing uploads, were handled through emails. This often led to missed requests, delayed follow-ups, and sometimes even business impact on costing, Finance and sourcing decisions. After implementing Kissflow, these same processes are now structured, traceable, and much faster. Automated notifications and reminders ensure that tasks don't get missed, and I've been able to consistently complete pricing uploads within the expected turnaround time. From a user prespective, the tool is fairly intuitive and doesn't required deep technical knowledge. Our team has been able to create and modify workflows on our own without constantly depending on IT team, which is a big advantage and reduces ad-hoc activities in a dynamic supply chain environment. Overall Kissflow has helped us move away from inbox-driven work to a more controlled and audit friendly system. Based on my experience, Kissflow has been a solid workflow automation tool for operational teams. It has helped us streamline processes, reduced manual errors, and bring better structure to daily work. While there are some limitations around integrations and analytics, the overall value it delivers in automating approvals and improving turnaround time makes it a useful platform for business users. I would rate Kissflow 3.8 out of 5, based on my hands-on experience. - Supply Chain Associate1B-10B USDIT ServicesReview Source
Kissflow Approval Process Significantly Reduces Time Compared to Email Requests
Overall Experience with Kissflow has been very Supportive and Positive. The KF platform has streamlined our workflows, improved Visibility and Reduced manual intervention. I want to highlight the Approval process which changed the entire manual process and for better reporting to track PPV's. Earlier we used to initiate reqeusts through emails and get 6-7 levels of approvals and followups for any requestor takes lot of time. - Chief Information Officer50M-1B USDConsumer GoodsReview Source
API Documentation and Support Desk Hours Present Challenges for Longtime Users
I like the product in general, the API's and SDK etc is lacking. Needs much better documentation and versioning on the end points. It would be so much quicker to build complex API driven work flows etc if the docs where more complete, had much better examples etc. - Software Developer<50M USDTravel and HospitalityReview Source
Strong low-code platform with usability strengths and some functional limitations
Overall, my experience with Kissflow has been generally positive. Their support team is responsive and accessible via chat; however, some of the solutions provided tend to rely on workarounds due to platform limitations rather than native functionality or are non-existent. Kissflow has a user friendly interface and has a short learning curve for end users. Their adoption of AI has been great. There is room for improvement in expanding core features to reduce dependency on workaround-based implementations.
