What I, as the Head of IT, value most about Lansweeper is its visibility and control across our entire technology estate. Its discovery engine covers both our IT and OT environments, cataloguing every device, application, and firmware instance. This enables us to challenge our OT partners to actively upgrade or retire equipment before vendor support is terminated. Equally powerful is LAN-sweepers software detection capability. We can instantly see our full software stack on all devices, which version, and flag those that are outdated and more importantly (linked to NIS2/ISO27k1) those with known vulnerabilities; this ensures our risk-mgmt. process is comprehensive and defensible. Lanweeper's extensive dashboards and high level of customizability assures that your every reporting and tracking need is matched for both Infrastructure as Security operational support.

There is some room for improvement on the administration on detected devices to eliminate duplicates. Apart from that, it does perform perfect and better then I anticipated. We now have all serial-nr's and a complete inventory of all screens connected to our computer-park, even if they are TV's, dual- or triple-screen setups.
I felt that Lansweeper was slow at times.
Configuration is stored in the database New User Interface isn't as effecient as the older one Support is just an email address, no ticketing
