FAVORABLE

“LinkedIn learning is the best digital learning tool we have used”

5.0
Jan 7, 2026
We have used several different digital learning platforms over the years and, frankly, all of them felt clunky - hard to navigate, frustrating to use, and content was uninspiring. LinkedIn Learning is a marked difference in every way, being super easy to navigate, bookmark, share, and the quality and breadth of content is first class.

CRITICAL

“Mixed Customer Experiences Amid Significant LinkedIn Price Increase This Year”

3.0
May 5, 2026
Overall, as a mid-market customer, LinkedIn's support has hedged between slightly below average to average. Unfortunately, we recently received a year over year invoice with a 14.5% price hike, which was unexpected at best. Value, functionality or support we received this year wasn't commensurate with that significant of an increase.

Performance of LinkedIn Learning Across Market Features

LinkedIn Learning Likes & Dislikes

Like

The two overwhelmingly best features are the ease of navigation, far surpassing any other digital learning tools that we have previously used, and making it far quicker to return to saved content. And secondly, the quality and breadth of content is making it easy, even compelling, to learn beyond the bare minimum. This takes the tool from needs-must to a joy to use, with the team finding both directly applicable content and also complimentary learning that augments their abilities with an understanding of the teams they partner with.

Like

Depth of content at users fingertips and innovative commitment alongside many of the large HR systems.

Like

Vast variety of courses offered by industry experts from different domains. It is a very easy to use platform which anyone can use to understand new topics

Dislike

Honestly, it is hard to find any shortcomings with LinkedIn Learning, but perhaps one item missing is better team collaboration - where a manager or team could share specific courses with each other, or even custom teams.

Dislike

NA, A premier partner to our HCM, they are supported and well integrated making the user experience seamless.

Dislike

Course quality is not that great and I feel the course content is not standardized nor any moderation is present.

Great platform to learn from industry experts, but needs better content quality control

    4.0
    Apr 18, 2026
My experience with LinkedIn Learning has been pretty good overall. I mostly use it to pick up new skills or dive deeper into topics I want to understand better, and it does the job well. The courses are well taught by people working in the field, which makes a real difference the content feels applicable, not just theoretical. The only downside is the quality of the content that i feel is not consistent across courses. There is lot of content but not everything is good or upto mark.

What Your Peers Are Saying About LinkedIn Learning

Analyst, HR
How do organizations utilize LinkedIn Learning to upskill employees for higher-level roles and outline additional training pathways employed to close skill gaps?
HR Manager
LinkedIn Learning is not prompted as a company learning path. Most individuals utilize LinkedIn Learning on their own based on their goals. The company does offer a training platform for employees to build out their career path learning. An organization can build out a specific training path by role for their employees or an employee can build their own training plan. Some training is required and tracked by HR/Organization, but most is determined by the individual. It is a great benefit for the company to offer training choices to add to external options.

What are your thoughts on Cornerstones on demand learning offering?  We are reviewing against our current provider LinkedIn Learning and would love to hear experiences. I’m particularly keen to know of your experiences of the range of content, quality of content, applicability of learning, how engaging learners have found the modality and whether you have been able to integrate the learning content into program and learning offerings. I’d also love to know whether you’ve been to leverage the compliance training and whether it meets regulation requirements so that you can substitute other compliance training on topics like anti-harassment as an example. We find challenges with the reporting with LinkedIn Learning and believe that Cornerstone will be more useful in this regard given our LMS is SABA. Is this a fair assumption? For those that have used or researched LinkedIn Learning - how do you find the two as a comparison?
