The most important feature of Udemy Business to me personally is the ability to download the app onto my mobile devices. With the ability to connect my Udemy Business account to a mobile app, It enables me to be much more successful and consistent at pursuing new skills and learning new things that pertain to my role. Whether I am in the car and listening to specific lessons, or on a walk and listening to a lesson while exercising, the mobile app helps significantly in breaking down the barriers to learning on my own time. Another great aspect of Udemy Business is the wide array of topics that are available for me to learn; from business topics, to communication, and technical topics, there are always a diverse number of options of courses for me to listen to. Lastly, I love that Udemy Business is easily integrated with my leadership. It allows me to showcase the learning paths I am on and holds me accountable for courses I am expected to take.
The wide variety of programming and easy of use
I like how the product keeps track of all the topics you chose and keeps track of your progress. Secondly, I like the previews of each topic you chose. It gives you a peek into what the classes are like and if it moves at your pace. Depending on the content creator, I like how some of the courses contain multiple choice tests. I believe the testing and hands on method is the best way to learn. Lastly, look at the reviews! Other people who have gone through the course will rate it, which will give you a better idea into if the course is for you.
Although I generally appreciate the strengths of Udemy Business, as a user there are a few weaknesses as well. Primarily, the weaknesses I see in the product revolve entirely around the Content quality. Whether it is the limitation of variety for specific topics, inconsistent quality in content itself, or the reliance on a handful of creators for the overall platforms success, I find myself wanting a bit more depth when it comes to many learning topics due to those shortcomings.
We cannot connect it to our HCM/HRIS so completed training has to be tracked off-line or in separate system
Im not sure if reviews are looked at. I wish that users were encouraged to give additional examples and spend a little time on their reviews of the online classes. It was good or the instructor spoke too fast doesn't really help me that much! Otherwise, I generally have no complaints!
