Logicmonitor is providing us proper tools which are giving us the correct information from their tools

Logic monitor has pros and cons, it is an agentless based monitoring so it comes with the usual pros and cons of an agentless setup. They do have a knowledgebase which helps for straightforward setups but as soon as things become more bespoke that knowledgebase starts to appear less useful and youre left having to attempt to work out configurations through trial and error or support. Logic Monitor is able to integrate with On-prem, Azure, and AWS. It can also integrate with GCP too but its agentless setup means Logic Monitor will be wanting a collector server in each Google project, if not you are left to use unsupported means of collecting your system information. The collector can also only handle syslog forwarding in plain text and is reliant on third party plugins/tools or workarounds to allow for ingestion of syslog type logs. Ultimately Logic Monitor can be a good product, but it becomes significantly more complex to setup, incorporate with other systems or even manage when things start falling outside the the standard expectations of their products use cases.
