Outlook and Excel integration shines, but key settings feel buried
On the positive side, certain areas are intuitive and quite robust. For example, the core sale order and invoicing workflows make it relatively straightforward to go from quote to cash once they're configured, and the tight integration with Outlook and Excel is super helpful. At the same time, other parts felt unnecessarily buried and had to be discovered by our SMB team. A good example is the current approval workflow config. Key settings are spread across multiple setup pages and role centers and it's not obvious where to see/change/troubleshoot a given approval path. That fragmentation makes it harder for us to self-serve and drive a lot of avoidable dependence on IT team and support staff.
