D365 is a great tool, sure. It is super integrated with other other types of systems. Specifically, it has great integrations with other tools like Copilot, excel, powerbi, outlook etc.

The tool itself works as expected for the basics, but when you want to get proper insights based on different types of data you need to dig deep and understand how the entire product is built. It's too dependent on how databases work for my liking.

Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales Likes & Dislikes

Like

I am a CRM trainer and I really like using Dynamics. It has great integrations and capabilities that certainly rival other CRMs (which we also use in our org). The easy integrations with other MS365 tools is by far my favorite part about Dynamics.

Like

They have recently revamped the UI so its a bit more attractive to work with. For those who have the entire suite of microsoft products it will probably solve your needs (yet in a bit of a clunky way)

Like

Using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales I can look over the details of the customer in a single point which is a really good thing. It can be integrated with Outlook to enhance communication and with other tools.

Dislike

As I said earlier, I don't love how the reporting is done in Dynamics. I have experienced it being very easy to train and to use the reporting functions. The integrations with PowerBi and Excel are useful and helpful, but not as great as while in Dynamics on its own.

Dislike

Its too much tied to development / customization which are not simple. In general we find that we need to get IT teams to do more than whats really desirable.

Dislike

Sometimes updates change the layout which can cause confusion. To use it effectively it requires proper training.

    Automated Reminders and Centralized Customer Information Enhance Sales Workflow Efficiency

    The experience has been good with Microsoft Dynamics Sales 365 as it sends reminders to the customer automatically so I don't need to remind them manually. I can access it from anywhere because it works fine from the mobile app too.

    Implementing Dynamics is a mixed bag of an experience. On the positive side, it integrates with the broader Microsoft products. However, the same Implementation makes the sales process lengthy, with significant configuration & requires a lot of resources.
