I like how well SCSM integrates with other Microsoft System Center products, which keeps everything unified across the environment. Workflow automation, reporting capabilities and built-in ITIL alignment make daily operations much easier to manage.

I like that it is included in our existing Microsoft licensing

The integration with active Directory and System Center Config Manager, being able to auto sync user data and CI info directly, and the fact that complex third-party connectors aren't necessary.

Dislike

Some parts of the console can feel slow during peak usage, especially in larger environments. Customizations are powerful but sometimes require more technical knowledge than expected, and updates can take longer than modern cloud tools.

SCSM is very fragile and the user portal is not robust enough when compared to modern solutions

The console can be sluggish, especially when dealing with a high volume of work items. Also, setting up a data warehouse for reporting is notoriously complex and requires significant SQL Server expertise to get meaningful insights.
