We use it to track progress and collaborate. And I think it is the best tool I have ever used for this purpose. It can also be easily integrated with GitHub and it is extremely user-friendly. I learned how to use this tool in less than a week.
It has a huge feature set. So if there's something you want to do, the likelihood is you'll be able to and if not you can probably use a third party integration to achieve it. The UI design language used is good at making somewhat dry subject matter interesting. Management of team member workloads was also useful.
The interface is so easy to see, & also customizable for our department's needs
It is honestly difficult for me to find negative aspects about this product. Maybe there are cheaper tools (I heard that, because our team is a bit bigger, it is a bit expensive). The bug-tracking feature could also use some improvement.
The scale of Monday.com works against it in my opinion. It's so huge that it feels like you need a degree to use it to its full potential. We tried various automations but always seemed to struggle to configure them in a way that worked for us. Whilst people management tools seem good, our staff never seemed to get into the habit of using the tool, perhaps because it was overly complex and felt like learning a new language.
