Performance of Mural Across Market Features
Mural Likes & Dislikes
Easy to understand for newcomers Great facilitation / moderation features Easy to collaborate in large groups and also with people that don't have a license Certain simplicity and lack of feature-depth helps to focus on what it is meant for
Mural works well for basic collaboration using sticky notes or similar
It's relatively easy to use, with the usual sticky note functionality you would expect. However, the templates can make it more fun. For example, icebreakers and the boring facts template can make meetings less utilitarian.
I can't think of anything specific that I dislike about Mural, as every feature - from its intuitive interface to its powerful collaboration tools - consistently enhances my workflow and leaves me very satisfied with the experience.
I find it difficult to map workflows, lay out text and manage font size, or lay out objects in relationship to others in a way I want. Navigating the different rooms (personal and org) can be hard.
Although it is functional and occasionally fun, the product has accessibility limitations typical of these virtual board projects. If you are used to using a trackpad to scroll up and down, you may get frustrated that it zooms instead. If you have to use non-mouse navigation, you may get frustrated with the vertical and horizontal scrolling that often becomes necessary.

Templates Add Enjoyment, But Accessibility Concerns Remain
It's a little more fun than most of these types of virtual board collaboration tools. That being said, its accessibility could use some work. - PROJECT AND PROGRAM CONSULTANT50M-1B USDConstructionReview Source
Templates And Real-Time Features Aid Collaboration But Exporting Can Be Challenging
Mural has been a great tool for us for visual collaboration and planning. It helps us capture everyone's ideas, map workflows and process maps, and plan our projects in a fun and interactive way. It is very useful when we conduct workshops, planning sessions and lessons learnt sessions where participation is highly encouraged. - PARTNER1B-10B USDIT ServicesReview Source

Collaboration Platform Supports Visual Learners But Has a Steep Learning Curve
This is a great platform to use for collaborating across teams with vastly different functionalities. This is a platform where no matter your background, you can connect with others across your company to effectively convey your ideas. I found it especially useful for others like me who are visual learners and can communicate more effectively using visual tools.
