Overall, our experience with o9 has been positive, but with clear learning curve. The platform is powerful and well suited for integrated planning across multiple domains (demand, supply, and financial planning), and it provides strong capabilities for scenario analysis and end-to-end visibility that were difficult with legacy tools. What has worked well is the flexibility of the platform and it's ability to model complex planning logic in a single environment. Once the core data models and processes were defined, it became easier to align different planning areas and have more structured, transparent decissions around scenarios and trade-offs. At the same time, implementation requieres significant upfront effort. Data readiness, master data alignment, and clear ownership of processes are critical, and the level of complexity means that strong governance and experienced implementation resources are needed. Progress and usability depend heavily on design decisions made eary on. In summary, o9 delivers strong capabilities and long-term potential, but realizing value requires commitment, disciplined implementation, and maturity in data and planning processes.

Overall, the tool is working as it has been designed. However, along the way, we are experiencing a tool glitch that keeps on recurring. Resolving the issues is also taking some time and sometimes there is no solution to offer.
