What we like most is having the entire budgeting process in one centralized system. It improves collaboration between teams, reduces manual work, and helps keep everyone aligned throughout the budget cycle.
We have benefited from OneStream especially in our government budgeting and planning. It has become easier for us to compile the information from different departments into one place and use it for our financial reporting and planning.
Ease of use, adaptability, and customization
Steeper learning curve for new users: some changes require technical support and initial setup can take time.
OneStream does not offer the ability to easily design bespoke reports containing the required data fields for departmental review. This makes us send the data out and work on it elsewhere, which kind of defeats the purpose of the efficiency we were trying to achieve.
Lack of ability to select multiple columns/rows for formatting or mass changes.
