The tool is quite reliable and fast to communicate across multiple channels during an outage. It is scalable and can be configured and used by large number of people. The interface of the tool is user friendly and it provides templates where you do not need to spend too much effort and time to send a message in case of emergency. The broad communication channel ensures high availability of communication during a crisis. Additionally, security and tracking of the tool makes it fit into compliance regulations and audit checks.

1. Limitation on the text/character is one of the concerns as the core message needs split at times. 2. The mobile application needs an upgrade and dashboard in particular looks clunky at times. 3. Isolated issues like technical glitch and call drop can be improved.

The user interface is simple and nothing is complex, better navigation capability would make the tool more effective during an emergency. There can be some minor delays when having thousands of users and sending notifications to them all at once. there is also a lack in message customization, where it is limited to having branded messaging content and alerts. despite the tool having many great features, it lacks some features, such as targeted alerts for specific regions and real-time user response tracking.

    Crisis Management Made Easier: Reliable Tools for Large-Scale Notifying

    I used this tool while working in a Cyber Security team in my previous workplace, the tool is great to provide a communication channel during crises and outages. It is very effective to notify large groups of people through multiple options such as email, SMS and voice calls. One of the great use case for this tool was CrowdStrike IT outage earlier this year, it was quite effective and helpful to inform people and ensure communication between teams effectively.
