Oracle Siebel CRM has been a good fit in terms of out of the box (OOTB) functionality and features meeting the user requirements. Oracle BRM is a challenge in terms of customisation level required to extend the OOTB functionality. Synchronisation between the separate ORACLE applications as part of the RODOD stack also creates many operational challenges, e.g. synchronisation of ECE and BRM customer, products and rates information. ECE OOTB support for account hierarchies with a high number of child accounts is also limited although well supported in BRM. Oracle Siebel deployment required outage due to SRF constraints with version implemented and resolve in sequent release. Stack requires different technology staff competencies and expertise which adds to complexity and TCO.
