Market Presence: Observability Platforms, Infrastructure Monitoring Tools

Overview

Product Information on Coralogix

Updated 13th October 2025

What is Coralogix?

Coralogix is a software that focuses on centralized log management and analytics for organizations needing to manage large volumes of log data across their cloud environments. The software enables users to ingest, parse, and analyze logs, metrics, and traces in real time, converting raw data into actionable insights. Coralogix automates the detection of anomalies, monitors application performance, and streamlines compliance reporting. The software provides features such as alerting, visualization, and querying through dashboards, supporting observability and troubleshooting efforts for DevOps, security, and engineering teams. Coralogix helps address challenges related to operational visibility, incident response, and system health monitoring within distributed infrastructure and applications.

Coralogix Pricing

Coralogix software employs a usage-based pricing model structured around the volume of data ingested, retention period, and selected feature sets. Pricing tiers are available that allow organizations to choose options based on their data volume, storage duration, and the breadth of analytics and monitoring capabilities required for their operations.

“Coralogix Offers Custom Storage & Superior Support Amid Rollout Challenges”

5.0
Oct 10, 2025
While our proof of concept went flawlessly, it took almost a year to bring the system online at-scale. Throughout this timeframe, Coralogix was true to their word, allowing overages on usage while we worked with our tireless account manager. Now, a year and a half later, I would say the product is configured and we have a good system through which to report and monitor bugs, features, and support response.

CRITICAL

“Lack of Accountability and Complex Integrations Overshadow Positive Product Features”

2.0
Oct 9, 2025
1. at first the commercial phase was not smooth as we started with the talks and later phase it was desided that we are not big enough to get POC which was disappointing. Even when we eventually agreed to proceed with POC the communication was not great. 2. the POC phase - POC barely worked. The integrations were bad, we rolled to a simple integration. there were no value in the POC. 3. the onboarding phase - integrations were very hard. its not out of the box integrations (we already understood it during the POC). it took very long time and required a dedicated devops engineer to support the onboarding. 4. Coralogix created an integration that did not exist before. This integration was buggy costing us XXX$ do to machines that were not released on time. company did not take responsibility, put the blame on us and did not make any compensation, no refund and not future credits nor even apologise.

There are four things that I believe set Coralogix apart from the normal vendor. First is that you own the storage (and retention period) for your data in your own S3 bucket! That means when I asked for 13mo storage they didn't even wince! Second, I would say that their concept of a quota-driven account is something unique in this industry as it allows you to cap your spend. They even have allowances for small (occasional) overages to help with the run-away log/process, as long as it is an anomaly to your typical volume. Third, I would say their DataPrime query language is a game-changer for log analysis. As a long-term user of ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana) we used the Lucene query language and then post-processed the data into whatever reporting was going to be provided. This was a VERY tedious process, while DataPrime offers a VERY detailed and well thought query language that does it all, from math, to grouping, and joins, to table structures. Lastly, I would say that the engagement we have been able to experience with their development teams has been fantastic. Its rare when you sign up for a SaaS service that you feel as though your ideas and feature requests are heard, much less implemented. Coralogix has managed to accomplish both of these and we've seen more than 60% of feature requests (though I'm sure we're not the only ones requesting them) make it into the product? This level of service is unparalleled.

Like

product itself (besides the integrations) works great. support is also very good and responsive.

Like

1. Coralogix offers an intuitive experience for working with logs, metrics & traces. Support correlation with all three of these enables quick identification of issues. 2. The APM catalog, service map and database views make it straightforward to grasp system behaviour. 3. Flow alerts lets us combine all three of these telemetry data & anomaly detection (highlights) helps recover systems before they escalate into incidents 4. Their customer support & TAM team is highly responsive & proactive in onboarding help, issue fix / on taking up new feature request.

Dislike

Our initial proof of concept was flawless and implemented in days. When we moved to a production rollout, this was far from flawless and a lot of the guarantees from sales took herculean efforts from their support staff to make happen (and still not to the degree that we had on our old platform). In the end, we spent more than 8 months on the production rollout before things stabilized and developers started to accept the new data. Another aspect that has been difficult with the product has been the lack of standardization when implementing their extensions. To-date they have more than 400 extensions that can automatically parse, alert, and build fantastic dashboards for SOOO many services. However, the dashboards follow no naming or foldering standard, alerts are named and labeled inconsistently as well as overwritten when upgraded. Parsing rules (which even order can affect what happens to your logs) get shifted around, re-ordered, and again follow no specific standard when upgraded through their system. Great library, just not the best implementation of the same. Finally, you as a customer have to realize that having the whole product (versus just a known set of features) can be a drawback. While there may not be an additional licensing cost, there is absolutely a cost in the amount of quota used by the same. We have had to adjust our expectations around trying out new features until we can understand what the cost implications would be in enabling the same.

Dislike

integrations and communication

Dislike

1. The interface is powerful but can feel complex for users, it takes time to understand where features are located and how to reach the expected outcome. 2. Although logs, metrics & traces are available in a single place, there's no single high level view that highlights if any service is going red. 3. Every user should learn the dataprime query to fully utilise the functionality. More intuitive query builder with dropdowns would be helpful for users. 4. APM catalog is not fully customizable based on service / team needs.

Unified Observability platform delivering powerful insights

    4.0
    Nov 28, 2025
What worked well: 1. Coralogix connects logs, metrics & traces making it easier to identify rootcauses without switching tools 2. APM catalog provides clear visibility into application performance helps track latency, errors, throughput & overall health 3. Service map visualizes service to service connection & its health 4. Flow alerting allows alerting on logs, metrics & traces / their combinations. 5. Visual Explorer helps you navigate system activity visually. 6. Custom dashboards allow building tailored dashboards for teams and use cases. What Didn't Work Well: 1. Didn't have a unified view of everything to show service health 2. Too many clicks to reach the rootcause 3. It takes time to get used to the UI Overall good experience, good platform for unified observability with improvements needed.

Incident Resolution Speeds Up With Intuitive Dashboards But Advanced Features Are Complex

    5.0
    Sep 24, 2025
Using Coralogix has noticeably improved how quickly we resolve incidents. For instance, during a period of high traffic, we were able to spot and fix a memory leak in under 30 minutes-something that used to take several hours. The dashboards are straightforward and helpful, but some of the advanced features take time to learn and costs can add up as usage grows.

Coralogix Balances Visibility With Operational Savings, Initial Learning Curve Noted

    5.0
    Sep 24, 2025
My overall experience with Coralogix has been very good. It helped us streamline log management and observability across services, which directly reduced infra and storage costs by optimising how logs are ingested and retained. For example, we cloud route less critical logs to lower-cost storage while still keeping important data readily available. This balance has allowed us to maintain visibility while saving on operational expenses.
