Pimcore is an IT company that provides innovative data and experience management solutions. The company was founded in 2013 and is headquartered in Salzburg, Austria, with more offices in Germany and the U.S. The Pimcore Platform aggregates, enriches, and manages enterprise data, providing customers with up-to-date, consistent, and personalized experiences. The consolidated platform provides companies with a "trusted view" of information (products, assets, and customers) to eliminate data silos, optimise operational efficiency, improve customer experience, and minimise IT costs.

Pre-planning of changes
- PIMCORE is a versatile platform that can be tailored to our company's needs. - With PIMCORE we are able to manage and maintain our data in an efficient and easy-to-use manner. - We were able to replace multiple separate legacy systems through the pimcore implementation (PIM, CMS and DAM) - PIMCORE still offers a community edition and an on-premise variant.
loading time of the website could be better, and it would be great if the back-end ran a little faster. some settings are a bit difficult to find or it is not clear, why which settings are where.

PIMCORE offers a huge variety of APIs but I would not call it a native Headless solution when it comes to the CMS. However, this problem may have occurred due to the major customizations by our implementation partner. The search feature could be more powerful especially when it comes to boolean operators or search operators like * wildcard search. PIMCORE's main search also seems to differ from the smaller search engine which can be used to find assets directly within the tree structure. I must say that we use pimcore in version 10.6 which is not the latest version.
